BROAD ROLE OF FRANCHISE OWNER


  • Recruit 3 to 4 crew members as soon as franchise is finalized and send them for 4 weeks training program.
  • The owner himself has to attend full time 4 weeks training.
  • Sign a 5 year lease agreement of premise with minimum 3 year lock In period.
  • Immediately apply for water, drainage connection; take society No Objection Certificate (NOC) and apply for food, health and police licenses.
  • During day to day operations make sure that all the raw material including disposables has to be bought from company.
  • Be prepared to enjoy working for long working hours and giving up on holidays for a few months.

Q. What is covered in training at Kutchi King?
Ans – The extensive training module of Kutchi King covers:
Detail training on opening process, closing process and other SOPs
Staff grooming, hygiene, body language, kitchen raw material, deep cleaning and other training required for kitchen staff
Detail theoretical and hands on training on menu recipes
Ordering, ERP, Guest interacting, up selling, Profit and Loss calculation and other important managerial role training.

Q. Why is owners training compulsory?
Ans – Owners training is compulsory as:
You can provide backup if a worker quits, is absent, is ill or during rush hours or festivals.
You will learn the tricks and traits of everyday business, expanding it and developing good communicating skills with guests.
Owner is the best person to look after the areas of material optimized use, controlling wastage, upsaling and increasing profits of the outlets.

Q: Can we sell other products except company’s menu products at our outlet?
Ans – No. Menu items and rates are as decided my company, new product intruduction or introduction of any beverage /ready to eat snacks will be decided by company only.

Q: What is the profit margin?
Ans – 18% to 25% of total sales is usually the profit of our franchise outlets. However, it is a factor of involvement of owner in day to day operations as it affects up selling, avoids wastage and helps in guests retention

Q. Will the company help in man power sourcing?
Ans- Recruiting and retaining the man power is the responsibility of Franchisee. However, company will provide guidance and support in this process.

Q. How much man power is required per outlet (King outlet format)?
Ans- King Outlet will require 4 to 5 crew members, 1 cashier and 1 outlet manager (or owner)

Q- Will the company help us in finding the location?
Ans- Yes, once franchisee pays the franchise fee, company helps in searching and shortlisting the location/premise.

Q. What is the support provided by company after the outlet starts?
Ans- Company works hand in hand with the franchisee all the time. We will regularly audit the outlet and share the results with the franchise owner and also suggest best recommendations to solve non compliances. We also share monthly operations summary and suggest areas to focus on for next months. Besides, we dedicate 2 to 3 hours of training per week for all franchisee outlet. Even after start of business company will work like your ‘technical’ partner and provide all the required guidance, support and analysis.

Q. Who will supply us the raw material?
Ans- Most of the raw material (spices, disposables, sauces, pre mixes etc.) will be supplied by the company on periodic basis. Company will have tie ups for direct supplies of remaining material like Bakery products, oil, besan etc. Which are to be ordered to vendors through a mobile application given to you by company.
